Pastor’s Bio
Ginny Kurtzweg has been our Preschool/Childcare director for 13 years. She started TLC Preschool & Growing Tree Childcare and has modified the program to accommodate the growing numbers at the center. She has an Elementary Education License and has worked with children for over 20 years. She has been married to Scott for 23 years and is blessed with 3 girls. Sydney is 19, Hattie is 14, and Joce is 12. Some of her hobbies include family time, going to the cabin, fishing and sporting events.
Ginny holds positions on several child-related community boards, committees or associations. These include a Director Association for childcare centers, facilitator for Gather & Grow meetings, and a Co-Coordinator for the Bemidji ECI (Early Childhood Initiative) Association, and sits on the Northwest Technical College Advisory Committee for Early Childhood Education as well as being a resource for the placement of teaching interns from BSU and the Technical College.
Marty Svare has previously worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years! He has worked for the members of Trinity since 2010 and has been full time since 2015. Marty grew up in the Fergus Falls area and attended BSU where he met his wife Maria. They have been married for 25 years and have lived in Bemidji for the past 32 years.
